DPM 2007 Protection Group creation and error id 31008

After you deploy the DPM agent on a Windows Server 2003 and  you try to create new protection group the wizard may come back with the following error message.

Make sure you read the following Knowledge Base article 940349 and install the VSS patch.

I have the same issue with Windows Server 2003 x64 Storage Server, but I installed the VSS patch and continue with the problem. Let me know if is necesary to install this patch in the Servers that have the agent installed?

Yes you need to install the patch on all the servers that have the agent installed.
