PDF: Foxit Reader 2.3 as an Adobe Reader alternative
Foxit Reader is a small, fast alternative to Adobe Reader. Version 2.3 has just been released. It includes a multimedia player, so users can read PDFs and watch or listen to the audio and video they contain.
Foxit Reader is a free PDF document viewer, with incredible small size (only 2.55 M download size), breezing-fast launch speed and rich feature set. Foxit Reader supports Windows Me/2000/XP/2003/Vista (and Windows Server 2008). Its core function is compatible with PDF Standard 1.7.
In the past, you've had to download a huge PDF reader from another software company, go through a lengthy installation process and wait for an annoying splash window to disappear just to open a PDF document.
Try it for yourself. I also like having a PDF reader with multiple tabs for reading different PDF files in one window.
