Windows Live Writer: First impressions
Today I installed Windows Live Mail on my notebook. I had signed up for Gmail and wanted to use a local mail client with its IMAP support. The Google ads in the web interface can be annoying.
After downloading the small installer, I could add tools such as Windows Live Writer and Windows Photo Gallery. I installed everything and opened Windows Live Writer.
This is my first experience with Windows Live Writer, and I like it. I hate the WordPress web interface and the extra steps needed to upload images. Credit to Microsoft.
