Whitebox PC: Building my Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600

Last week I finally had time to build my Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 machine. All the components were purchased online:

  • 1 x Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 G0 Stepping 2.4 GHz 8Mb €228,50
  • 1 x Asus P5N-E €105,00
  • 2 x Corsair 4096MB DDR2 PC6400 Matched Pair TwinX C5 €242,95
  • 1 x Corsair ATX 450W 24P €63,50
  • 1 x Asus Silent Knight €52,50
  • 1 x Asus 256MB EN8600GT OC GearHTDP €136,95

I started with my existing A-open tower.
