Hi there! My name is Ivan Versluis. I am a Dutch IT Professional working for Almatis as Global IT Engineering Manager. I have experimenting with my digital camera’s for quite some time I am thinking to start doing more things with my passion for taking pictures. Couple months ago I visited US for work and one of my co-workers had a Canon SLR camera with him, I don’t remember the exact model anymore and he let me take some pictures. I really enjoyed using this beautiful device and I am looking forward to buy for myself. I will very soon. Now and than I will blog and post some of those pictures I took. My next project will be going to New York in May 2008 and I will take this opportunity to start my amateur photographer career.

Hi Rod,
Thanks for being here at my blog. Trip to Little Rock was fantastic and I enjoyed the two week stay. Did some shopping and the site seeing outside the normal work and meetings.
Last Sunday I did a workshop “Digital Photography” and working to update this area of my blog. I finally learned SLR basic stuff which is very useful.
I bought a Canon EOS 400D and I am really positive on the quality I get for the price I paid for it.
